  1. Good Morning, Read this today on fb, wanted to share with you:

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.” “Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will been more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

May be this was one of the best explanations to the concept of GOD.

  2. A question you might be able to clear up for me: When we are sick and old I get it that we’re going to die. What about innocent young people who get killed? I don’t get it ….

    • Thanks for your question, Ana, which is so relevant to current events, isn’t it?

The bottom line is that “God is operating the all in all” (1 Corinthians 12:6), and His purpose justifies all the evil that has occurred throughout human history, despite out inability to comprehend it. And how could we comprehend it fully? Do we think like God? Do we know what He knows? We must keep this in mind always, when our comprehension fails us:

“For My designs are not your designs, and your ways are not My ways, averring is Yahweh. For as the heavens are loftier than the earth, so are My ways loftier than your ways, and My designs than your designs.” (Isaiah 55:8-9).

I would encourage you to look through “Light Up the Scriptures,” where you’ll find several Scripture studies that will help answer your question.

Let me also quote from the introduction to Chapter 7 of the book, Go GOD!, titled, “Who’s in Charge Here?”:

“We cannot protect enough kids, enact enough laws, build enough jails, publish enough “offender lists,” or depose enough dictators to stop all the injustices we see. Our moral outrage appears perfectly justified and the Father appears not to care, or He would stop the cruelty and injustice in the world, or prevent it in the first place, right? Let’s be honest: Our world does not seem to operate on principles that an all-powerful Elohim would author.

“Either YaHoVeH, is the Absolute, Almighty Creator of the Universe and everything in it; the Father of us all, all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere present, the One and Only Deity, without beginning or end, or He is none of these. He is either trustworthy and entirely in charge of the course His creation is on, or He is not God at all; and, if the Father is NOT God, to whom do we look for substance, purpose, explanation and destiny? Who’s in charge here?

“We are faced with believing the Scriptures are the inspired word of God (See Chapter 3, “Where’s the Compass?”), because they leave no doubt as to Who’s in charge.”

  3. In addition to enjoying the scriptures with you every day, I also enjoy laughing with you! I am a “yep, me too” regarding today. And I do reflect at the end of each day if I have sinned..and learn from my sins (mistakes) to not repeat them. My relationship with God continues to grow and I am enjoying the journey. Thank you!

  4. Hi Barbara. I’m new to listening to you. I really need to open my heart to God. I know He can help us, but I just don’t think I’m with him. Do you have any suggestions?

    • Bless your heart, Ana! We addressed your question directly on the Morning Magical for 2/12/18. For now, though, know that while you may not feel like you’re with Him, He is certainly with you! Make sure you have laid the foundation by receiving Yeshua (Jesus) as Lord and asking Him to come into your heart. Being “born again” is clearly the first step. If you’ve already done this, ask the Father to fill you with His Spirit, and give your spirit voice by “speaking in tongues,” just like you’ll read throughout the book of Acts and throughout much of the Apostle Paul’s writings. Meanwhile, bathe yourself in His WORD.

  5. Wow. This is powerful and magical! Great points made this morning on not doing things out our own will. “Most freedom on the shortest leash”…
