Our Father has made provision for EVERYTHING from beginning to end

Pslam 139Nothing escapes our Father’s attention. not only that, but He has already provided for any and every eventuality. The Father is omniscient, after all, which means He knows everything, the end from the beginning.

One of the most succinct declarations of God’s sovereignty anywhere in the scriptures is found Psalm 139:1-18 . It is most beautifully captured in the Concordant Literal translation from Hebrew (including Dead Sea scrolls and Masoretic texts), Greek (Septuagint), and other manuscripts. Compare this with any other versions you like; see if you don’t agree that this reaches  into your spirit, and declares at once the greatness and tenderness of the Father:

O Yahweh [Lord], You have investigated me and are knowing me; You yourself know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar; My path and my pallet You have measured off, And for all my ways You have made provision. For though there be no declaration on my tongue, Behold, O Yahweh, You know it all. Back and front, You have besieged me, And You set Your palm upon me. Such knowledge is marvelous beyond me; It is impregnable; I cannot reach to it. Whither could I go from Your spirit, And whither could I run away from your presence? If I should climb to the heavens, You are there, And should I make my berth in the unseen, behold, You are there. Should I wear the wings of dawn, Should I tabernacle in the hindmost sea, Even there Your hand would guide me, And Your right hand, it would hold me. If I said, “Surely darkness, it snuffed me up, And night is belted about me,” Even darkness, it is not darkening to You, And night, as the day, is giving light; Darkness is as light. For You Yourself achieved the making of my innermost being; You overshadowed me in my mother’s belly. I shall acclaim You, for You are fearfully distinguished; Marvelous are Your works. You have known my soul very thoroughly; My skeleton was not suppressed from You, When I was made in concealment; I was woven together as in the nether parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my embryo, And my days, all of them were written upon Your scroll; The days were formed when there was not one of them. How precious are Your thoughts to me, O El [God], How plentiful are their sums: If I number them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with You.

Nothing has escaped the Father’s attention. He has left nothing to chance. Step to the right or left; He has not only seen it already, but has written our steps — all of them — before we take them. No accidents, no coincidences; we cannot escape His attention, or thwart, delay, or even distract His purpose. He is God and there is no other. AMEN!

Blessings and joy in the journey

Author of GO GOD - Jump On Or Hang On, 'Cause God's Gonna Win!, and a REVENOUS student of the scriptures since 1972, it became clear to me that the original language translations (from Greek and Hebrew) didn't square with the English versions in significant ways...so significant, in fact, that people were once considered heretics for investigating what the original manuscripts REALLY said. The "heretic" label persists in some Christian circles today, when one's perspective calls traditional doctrines into question. Someone once said, "The odds of someone being right is directly proportionate to the number of people trying to prove him or her wrong." Since 1972, the operating principles that ultimately birthed the ScriptureDoc project are these: 1. The word of God was written for regular people, not just theologians...it has to make sense. For that matter God Himself must make sense, otherwise how can we know Him, and what benefit would there be in knowing Him? 2. When the word of God (or God Himself) doesn't make sense, it is our understanding that is lacking, not His word. We need to investigate, educate, expand, and adjust our knowledge, perception, and understanding. 3. The goal is to, "Endeavor to present yourself to God qualified, an unashamed worker, correctly cutting the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15) 4. Last one: "All scripture is inspired by God, and is beneficial for teaching, for exposure, for correction, for discipline in righteousness, that the man [or woman] of God may be equipped, fitted out for every good act." (2 Timothy 3:15-16) 5) OK, one more: "Request and it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who is requesting is obtaining, and who is seeking is finding, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8) So . . .here's a forum where we look into what the word of God REALLY says, and what it REALLY means. IF you;re happy with what you've learned about God to date, this probably isn't for you; however, if you're open to what may be an alarmingly fresh perspective, jump on in.
